Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said that Erdoğan, Turkey’s prime minister, was responsible for the death of tens of citizens in blasts in Reyhanli Township in Hatay province. Kılıçdaroğlu, who was speaking to the CHP parliament representatives, severely criticized Erdoğan’s policies on the region and Syria.
He pointed to Erdoğan’s remarks about the dead people in Reyhanli blasts on a Turkish TV network who had said that in after-world he [Erdoğan] would be held accountable, and “they would ask me in my presidency, what had I done for these killed people.”
“How much pride? Who do you think you are? Why would you assume yourself Turkish prime minister even in after-world? You are a US lacquey, and a role that you play is not welcomed,” said Kılıçdaroğlu.
Addressing Erdoğan, Kılıçdaroğlu asserted that “you had told that you would visit Reyhanli to hear people’s problems after visiting US and Gaza. This is because you are a US and West lacquey, and Turkish people are unimportant for you, and he who is a lacquey cannot be a patriotic man, thinking to national interest, and he may step up all national interests and benefits of his country.”
Kılıçdaroğlu also pointed to recent blasts in Reyhanli Township and addressed Erdoğan. “In Reyhanli, you have played with world, while you speak about plights of Hatay people,” he asserted.
“ in Reyhanli blast, some points became obvious,” said Kılıçdaroğlu, explaining the points: 1. Why would Syrian refugees freely roam Hatay province and pose security problems to Turkey, however we do not have any problem helping others as our human duty; 2. Now, we see security forces from many countries also frequenting freely carrying arms, what disturbs local people; 3. Why should you arrest a number of people only after 24 hour and would not arrest them 24 hours before, is it the indication that Turkish security system is weak and incompetent? Should not you eavesdrop the phone calls of terrorists instead of eavesdropping my phone calls or others’ like me? 4. The pandemonium governs the Turkish-Syrian borders, and terrorist groups freely frequent with support from government and carry with themselves weapons and bombs,” explained Kılıçdaroğlu.
“We oppose the presence of FSA members in Turkish territories,” said Kılıçdaroğlu, addressing Erdoğan that “in Syrian crisis, the West incited you, and you went to the scene and instigated murder. Now the West has retreated to the safety, but Turkey is still engaged in the war. You are not fit for Turkey, since you have instigated terror in the name of democracy.”
